At the ABRS+ we understand that running equestrian centres can be challenging. Juggling finances, staff, and clients as well as providing top quality care for your horses isn’t always easy.
The ABRS+ conference – Your Equestrian Centre and the Future is the ideal place to learn new skills and share ideas to ensure the success of your business. Part of the packed schedule of expert speakers includes a session on Practical Yard Management, Sustainability and Enhanced Client Experience.
Being open to new ideas is key to success and we are delighted to be joined by Carol Andrews of Wimbledon Village Stables who will talk about Developing Your Staff – How to Motivate and Retain Your Team, and Louise Fitton of Ryders Farm Equestrian Centre who will cover Gaining and Retaining Clients by Smoothing and Creating the Best Customer Journey.
Carol Andrews – Carol learnt to ride at Coombe Hill Stables in nearby Kingston, passed her BHSAI at South Weylands Equestrian Centre. Although showjumping is her passion, Carol has successfully competed in all equestrian disciplines.
Developing and improving Wimbledon Stables whilst balancing and maintaining a team who are progressing, feel values and are loyal, alongside a stables full of healthy, happy horses is a real skill which Carol attributes much of the success of the business to.
At the conference Carol will share her methods and top tips for managing horses and staff to promote a happy and healthy and financially thriving working environment.
Louise FittonLouise is a Business Graduate and Operations Manager at Ryder’s Farm Equestrian Centre (RFEC), so brings with her a wealth of experience whilst understanding the pressures of equestrian businesses.
RFEC is a family run Riding Centre in Bolton, with a clear aim to be a leading Equestrian training centre and venue in the Northwest, providing dynamic coaching to riders from leisure riding to professionals training. RFEC don’t believe that horse riding and the equestrian world should only be accessible for a select few and want to break down the barriers to our sport for everyone in a knowledgeable, friendly and professional environment. Their mission is to provide high-quality training, development opportunities, and community support through enhanced facilities and programmes, fostering a space where the wellbeing of our horses and riders is paramount.
Louise will use her extensive marketing background to take you on the journey that a potential client might take from ‘How would they know about you?’, ‘How would they book with you?’, ‘What might be their experience when riding with you?’ to ‘How would you know what they think about you?’ Louise’s talk will give you food for thought as you consider how best to attract and retain clients.
