The Brook

We are a small riding establishment and home of the Erme Valley RDA.  We specialise in providing riding therapy and equine facilitated education for those with disabilities or special needs.  We have been established for 39 years and pride ourselves on providing a highly professional and experienced team to support those with disabilities.  We have a professional rider at the Yard providing training and coaching for our horses; our horse welfare is a high priority and every horse undertakes a variety of work and have individual care and work programmes.  Our riders compete in the Regionals and Nationally.  None of our coaches are paid and all are assessed annually, completing Continuing Professional Development training days.  We have 10 horses, 8 coaches and we offer riding and riding therapy, EQLs, BTECs and Asdan programmes.

• We have 3 Arena (2 outdoor (one grass) and one covered)
• We support children and adults (riding therapy from 18 months+ and equine facilitated learning from 4 years+)
• We provide individual, group and jumping lessons
• We provide other non-equine services including social and arts clubs, and can provide work experience
