The 4 Gaits Riding School

Our aim is to create a space for everyone and encourage adults and children of all spectrums to spend time at the riding school, whether you ride, enjoy a carriage drive or just simply bonding with a horse.  We understand the therapeutic benefits of being around the horses. The believe there is a clear coloration between spending time with horses and a positive effect on your health and mental well-being.  This is what prompted us to get involved with the RDA and gaining the accessibility mark in 2005.  Since then we have worked along side many local schools and organisations, with amazing results in developing, confidence, self- esteem, responsibility and promoting well–being.

Our livery yard is an old dairy, brick built stables. We have 4 yards all connected.
We have 55 stables in total.
We have a blue, pink, green and purple yard. A seperate yard with 6 wooden stables, away from the yard in the car park.  We have 2 wooden isolation stables.
We have a mixture of full, working and DIY liveries.
