Stickney Riding Centre

Established in 2013 by Sharon Poole BHSAI. Stickney Riding Centre is a 5* licensed centre with British Horse Society qualified instructors.

We aim to offer a safe and friendly environment for clients to learn to ride and look after horses/ponies from the age of 4 years old upwards.

We provide lessons for the complete beginner or the more advanced rider in our floodlit all-weather flexi-ride surface 20×60 arena. Clients can choose between having private tuition or joining a group of similar ability riders, groups are a maximum of 4 riders in order to maintain a good level of instruction to each client. We are also a Pony Club Linked Centre.

When teaching we put great emphasis on developing a correct position, independent seat and making riders aware of how their actions influence a horse. We aim to help horse and rider achieve suppleness, rhythm and balance whilst working together in harmony. We also specialize in helping nervous riders regain their confidence and enjoyment of riding.
