Understanding Council Licensing and Veterinary Inspections

Posted on 25th August 2024

Council licensing is a requirement of all equestrian establishments that hire horses for riding. The licensing process has gone through several changes in the last few years and the ABRS+ is here to help business owners to understand these changes and how best to ensure their centres adhere to the rules and care for their horses, staff and clients.

We are delighted to be joined by Ben Mayes MA VetMB MRCVS Clinical Director Mayes & Scrine Equine Veterinary Practice, and Carolyn Madgwick, Director Legislation and Enforcement, The Horse Trust, at the ABRS+ Conference – Your Equestrian Business and the Future.
