British Equestrian announces jumping nominated entries for Paris 2024 Olympic Games
British Equestrian and the British Showjumping Selectors can today confirm the 12 jumping athlete and horse combinations that will be submitted to the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) as our nominated entries for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Only the combinations who appear on the nominated entries list (closing date Tuesday 25 June 2024) may be put forward to the British Olympic Association for selection to the Games.
Nominated entries, listed in alphabetical order by athlete surname:
• Scott Brash (38) from Horsham, West Sussex and originally from Peebles, Scotland, with Lady Pauline Harris and Lady Pauline Kirkham’s Hello Jefferson (bay, gelding, 15yrs, 16.1hh, Cooper van de Heffinck x Irco Mena, Breeder: Bernard Mols BEL) and Hello Valentino (grey, gelding, 10yrs, 16.1hh, Diamantino x Careful 28, Breeder: Tina Petersson-Lind SWE)

At the time of release, the names of the grooms for each horse have not been confirmed, but will be included in the final squad announcement.
Selection decisions are subject to the athletes and horses maintaining fitness and performance, and this list may be amended at any point up to 25 June 2024. The selected squad of four combinations to travel to Paris as part of Team GB, plus reserves, will be announced in late June.
Nominated entries for dressage combinations will be announced over the following weeks. Nominated entries for the para dressage squad for the Paralympic Games in Paris will be published in June.
