We are delighted that our first BEF-approved Equestrian Safeguarding Workshop on 13th October has sold out and we have been able to secure a second date for the course to run.
Normally run as a face-to-face course, the BEF have confirmed the Equestrian Safeguarding Workshop can be run using ‘Zoom’ video conferencing. Individuals who complete the course will receive a Safeguarding in Equestrian Sport Qualification. This qualification is valid for three years, is a requirement for Council Licensing and can go towards the requirements needed for an UK Coaching Certificate (1st4Sport).
The course is being run by the Child Protection Company, a specialist provider of Safeguarding training. They have adapted the Workshop to run on video conferencing and have restricted numbers on a course to 12 so that the workshop can be interactive. As a video conference course, no travel is required but participants must have access to a computer or tablet, with a video capability, and good broadband.
· Course Date: Tuesday 27th October 2020 – 09.00 to 12.00 hrs
· Cost: £49 per participant
If you wish to attend the course, please contact the ABRS Office (office@abrs-info.org or 01403 741188). If demand exceeds the available spaces, the ABRS will schedule further course dates.
