THE FINAL RESULTS OF THE 2023-2024 LEAGUES

Congratulations to everyone who has participated in the Leagues, even if you are a small school, that may not get to the top of the league, you are engaging with clients and providing them with some wonderful opportunities for achievement. The new My First Time rosettes are not included in the leagues as they can be used as flexibly as you like. Rosette Awards 23/24 What an amazing year for the Rosette Awards!  The interest this year has increased dramatically with 30 more schools participating and almost double the quantity given out.  You are certainly keeping us busy in the office. The results at the top were not unexpected if you have been following the quarterly updates. Congratulations to Brookhouse Farm Riding School – crowned as the Rosette League winners 2023-2024. A very solid runner up is Ryders Farm (who headed up the Riding section). Progressive Rider Tests 23/24 Follifoot Park Riding Centre has jumped up from their 9th position last year to get to the top of the League. South Weylands Equestrian Centre have awarded twice their previous years’ tests and moved into the runners up place. Looking further down the list we would like to congratulate some of the smaller schools who have made a big impression with the tests they have awarded.

Brookhouse Farm were clear winners in this category, with a staggering 60 ECA passed. The runners up are Stourport Riding School. The number of Tests passed was more than twice the number awarded last year.  What a great way to encourage and create loyalty with your clubs and volunteers.

The test leagues allow all our centres to compete to see who can complete the most Equestrian Care Awards, Progressive Tests or Rosette Awards in Stable Management and Equitation over the course of a year.

There is a regular table of results for both leagues, with the eventual top two receiving certificates for 1st and 2nd places.

| How do they work?

The Test league is based upon the number of successful ABRS+ Progressive Rider Tests, Equestrian Care Awards or Rosette Awards completed by each centre in both the Stable Management and Equitation tests. These tests allow riders to develop their riding and handling skills in a structured manner. Find out more by clicking the links above.

If you are a licensed riding school member and have never offered the tests, it’s easy to do! You can find more details in the Member Area, or Contact the ABRS+ Office with any questions.  We also run webinars where you can ask questions.

At present, the ability to offer tests and rosette awards are only open to Approved Riding Centre members. We are currently considering options for Certified and Approved livery yard members to be able to offer the tests and rosette awards under certain conditions.
