The ABRS+ runs Championships remotely on the Equi-Rider platform (www.equi-rider.com/en). Using Equi-Rider, ABRS+ members can participate in fun competitions but without the need to travel. All you need to provide is the arena (40m x 20m) and poles/stands (where appropriate) and we will provide you with instructions on how to run the competition that will allow competitors to take part on a like-for-like basis – no matter where the ABRS+ member is located. You video, time and judge each participant on your phone, pay the entry fee and upload the video, time and penalties. Equi-Rider will verify and validate all entries and the results will be published on the Equi-Rider website and the ABRS+ Facebook Page.
At the end of each Stage, riders will be award competition points based on the best entry that they submitted in that stage. Prizes will be awarded at a prize giving ceremony for the best riders in each class. Competition points will also accumulate across the stages of each Championship, leading to an eventual overall winner in each class and prizes for the best riders in each class. Prizes will normally be in the form of vouchers that can be spend online for saddlery or riding items (with a choice of prizes for riders). The riding school with the highest points will also receive a prize.
Entries will cost between £7 and £10 per entry (dependent on the type of competition), but it will be up to ABRS+ members to decide how clients are charged.
